Atiyyah Ghanchi
Occupational Therapist
DHA License No: 47098071-001
Occupational therapy for Atiyyah is about helping little hands achieve big things. With a solid foundation built through her BSc in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2020, her journey has taken her across South Africa, the UK, and the UAE- each experience enriching her approach to working with people of all abilities.
Her professional background includes working with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London, where she practiced in a community-based setting. There, she gained valuable insight into the role of occupational therapy in real-life contexts- supporting individuals within their homes and communities.
In the UAE, Atiyyah worked at an Emirati school, supporting children with Autism, ADHD, ADD, Spina Bifida, and childhood anxiety disorders. By collaborating closely with teachers and school teams, she contributed to creating supportive environments that enabled children to engage and grow both emotionally and functionally.
She strongly believes in the power of early Open Sansvention, collaborative care, and therapy that is both purposeful and playful.
