Alliya is a highly experienced Speech and Language therapist with over 10 years of experience working with children and young people with speech and language communication difficulties. Alliya gained her BSC in Speech and Language in City University in UK.
Alliya has worked within the NHS and private sector across the UK supporting children with language and communication needs in both mainstream and specialist settings.
Alliya has expertise includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders. Alliya has a strong background in tailoring Open Sansvention plans, collaborative work with educational teams, and supporting children with diverse needs to enhance their communication abilities. Alliya’s approach is compassionate and evidence-based, focused on achieving meaningful outcomes for each child.
Alliya is passionate about bilingualism and has played a key role in developing services and creating training for professionals and families to develop their awareness and knowledge of bilingualism within children with speech, language and communication needs.
Alliya has training in the following areas: Makaton level 1 & 2, Attention Autism, PECS, Colourful Semantics and Talking Mats.
